The series of plates Indivia, Lettuce and Rucola designed by Ettore Sottsass in 1985 – all white with black graphic decorations representing portions of architectural drawings, for the first two, or small spots for Rucola – play in a surreal way with the names of vegetables that do not seem to correspond to the designs in terms or colour or figuration. Is the reference to what will be eaten from the dish?
Serving plate in white ceramic with kiln-sublimated decorative decals.
Designed in 1985.
