Designed in 1989 by Sergio Calatroni for Pallucco Italia, the Papiro Floor Lamp captures the experimental energy of late-’80s Italian design. Their slender metal stems twist in a loose, calligraphic line; each lamp takes on a unique upward path of it's own. Living in a realm between sculpture and light source, Papiro reflects a moment when Italian designers treated lighting design with gesture and movement, turning functional objects into bold, expressive accessories.
