Georgia Jacob, a notable figure in French design most famous for her "draped" lamps of the early to mid 1970's, finds inspiration in the freedom and casual elegance of draped fabric. She came up with the idea of taking knit textile and suspending it in resinous acrylic of different hues in order to realize a permanent and light-safe way of illuminating said textiles.

Some of her most iconic designs include "Athena", "Corolle" as well as "Ophelia.

In a pop of saffron, when lit, the lamp emits a beautiful and warm ambient glow.
