The Iconic “Rey” chair by Swiss furniture designer Bruno Rey, is admired for its functional design, durability and simple beauty. Its popularity has endured for decades.
Originally designed in 1971 for Swiss furniture manufacturer Dietiker, the chair is composed of a tubular steel frame and beech plywood seat and backrest. Able to be stacked 10 chairs high, over the years it has become an especially popular choice for use in schools, auditoriums and public spaces. The chair's design has been recognized with numerous awards, including the prestigious Swiss Design Award in 1977. To this day, the Bruno Rey stacking chair is considered a classic of modern design and is still in production by Dietiker.
