An exercise in restraint, this circa 1905 side table pairs rich mahogany, delicate inlay, and brass detailing with the clean geometry that defined the Vienna Secession. Most likely attributed to Josef Hoffmann or produced within his circle through the Wiener Werkstätte movement, it captures the era's belief that every functional object could also be a work of art.

The top shows wear consistent with age, including surface scratches, finish wear, and small areas of veneer loss along the edge.
