Tahiti, a masterpiece by Ettore Sottsass, is an ironic lamp with a zoomorphic shape that recalls childhood games: a lamp is hidden in the head, ideal for lighting a table. The base with Bacterio pattern motifs supports a yellow stem, highlighted by a black foot on which rests the round pink “head” that rotates to direct the light of the red beak in the desired direction.
