Pascale Mestre
Handmade in Provence, Pascale Mestre’s ceramics draw on the centuries-old earthenware traditions of Apt while pushing them into contemporary form. From her studio in Saint-Saturnin-lès-Apt, she works with marbled clays tinted by oxides like copper, cobalt, and chromium, blending rigour with chance in each mixture. Simple, purified silhouettes come alive with fluid lines and shifting textures, where tradition and modernity are intertwined. Her work spans tableware and sculptural pieces, each carrying the quiet poetry of material and hand.
