The Profiterolle 640 Table Lamp was conceived as a controlled study in diffused light, using a layered cylindrical form to soften and contain illumination. Designed in the 1960s by Sergio Asti for Martinelli Luce, its calm geometry makes the behaviour of light its primary feature, not the object itself.

This is a reissue of the original 1968 design.
