Proudly non-coherent, Meritalia® emancipates itself from the static tradition of interior design and presents an object that celebrates restlessness. Denying the fixity of the coffee table, usually a mere 'accessory' completing the classic living room, Meritalia® creates Snake: a coffee table that elegantly slithers at the centre of every room, to become its main character.

Designed by Carlo Contin, Snake crawls into the living room, coiling itself in ever-changing configurations to conquer its space.

Five circular table-tops of different heights and diameters unfold in different ways according to the taste and whim of those who choose it. To own Snake is to be a furnishing enchanter, charming the modular composition in place, but without fixing it into a permanent composition.
