Boby Storage Trolley by Joe Colombo
Sold Out
Famed Boby trolley, the four-wheel cart with open shelves and sliding compartments, conceived by industrial designer Joe Colombo and produced by Italian company Bieffeplast.
It was originally designed as a storage unit for medical supplies and equipment, but was later adapted for use in offices and homes. The Boby’s rare union of high-tech, space-age and pop with functionality and versatility, has rendered it a classic design piece. It is arguably the single most familiar piece of post-war Italian design, and is part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.
