SASSI, a collection of remarkably realistic 'stones' from Gufram, is more than just furniture - they are captivating storytellers. Designed in 1968 by Piero Gilardi, these pieces bring elements of the great outdoors into your living space, offering a whimsical seating solution or a captivating decor element. First showcased at the 1968 Milan Triennale stairs, SASSI, made from lightweight polyurethane, mimic real stones, encapsulating Gufram's innovative "true-fake" concept and their love for nature-inspired design.

The pièce de résistance of the Sassi collection is SEDILSASSO, the largest of the stones, doubling as a functional pouf. This piece seamlessly melds aesthetics with functionality: pretense with purpose.

Its smaller counterparts serve as ornamental pieces, inviting contemplation and tranquility indoors. Enhanced with Guflac®, Gufram's patented coating, each of the SASS achieve a striking hyper-realism, presenting an amusing interplay between reality and illusion, nature and artifice, weight and weightlessness.

These deceptively realistic stones, part of the prestigious MoMA's permanent collection, redefine the biblical phrase: "Let him who is without sin cast the first stone". With SASSI, you're encouraged to cast these stones - not in judgement, but in celebration of innovative design, tactile marvels, and the magic of transformation from outdoor ruggedness to indoor chic.
