"Le Stelle" loveseat sofa by Mario Bellini, designed in 1974 for B&B Italia.
An early Postmodern design by Mario Bellini that would work in a host of environments - especially given it has been freshly reupholstered in a cool yet neutral wool blend - this piece is both versatile and very comfortable. Described by Bellini himself as "Elastic membranes, polyurethane cartilage, straps. Muscles flexed by a light skeleton. The soft flexibility of Dacron coupled with the fabric: a simple assembly for sophisticated comfort."
The sofa features Bellini's signature zipper detailing and retains its original "B&B" labels.
